Afro-Canadian Initiatives Association of New Brunswick
Who are we?
Created on December 15, 2020, the Association Initiatives Afro-Canadiennes du Nouveau Brunswick (AIAC-NB) works for the social, cultural, economic and civic development of the African-Canadian community of New Brunswick.
Mission
The AIAC-NB’s mission is to offer all African-Canadians in New Brunswick a space for meetings, inspiration, exchanges, learning, development, improvement, expression and promotion of their cultural, scientific, artistic and sporting talents and knowledge in order to contribute to the multicultural, social, community and civic life of New Brunswick society and to meet the expectations of Afro-descendant people of official language minority status.
Objective
The objective of the association is to:
Contribute to the well-being of African-Canadians in New Brunswick
Promote the culture, talents and skills of African-Canadians in New Brunswick
Encourage the participation of African-Canadians in citizen initiatives
Work towards growing and successful immigration of Afro-descendants to New Brunswick
Participate in the influence of African-Canadians in New Brunswick in their community
