The Association Initiatives Afro-Canadiennes – NB (AIAC-NB) is committed to enhancing the cultural, social, and economic well-being of the French-speaking Afro-Canadian community in New Brunswick. This strategic plan outlines its priorities for the coming years and aims to foster a more inclusive and dynamic society.

Strategic Priorities & Initiatives
AIAC-NB’s strategy aligns with the New Brunswick Acadian and Francophone Community Strategic Plan (2022-2028). It is structured around three key themes:
I. Engagement & Strengthening Community Bonds
🔹 Objective: Develop strong partnerships with Afro-descendant, Acadian, and Francophone organizations.
✅ Key Initiatives:
- Organizing annual intercultural events.
- Strengthening collaborations with Acadian and Francophone communities.
- Recognizing and promoting Afro-descendant leadership through awards and honors.
- Developing writing workshops for young Afro-descendants.
- Creating initiatives for cultural and artistic mediation in partnership with Acadian and Francophone organizations.
